Stop doomscrolling on Chrome

A Chrome extension that interrupts doomscrolling with a corgi

Corgi Guard helps you stop doomscrolling by turning social media time into a clear break. When your limit is reached, a corgi blocks the page until the countdown ends.

Why doomscrolling needs a visible stop

Doomscrolling usually does not end because another tiny reminder appears. It ends when there is enough friction to break the loop. Corgi Guard creates that friction with a full-page corgi overlay and a countdown timer.

How to use Corgi Guard

Small MVP, clear promise

The current version is intentionally focused: Chrome first, local settings, custom tracked domains, no account, and no analytics. It is built for one job: interrupt the scroll when your limit is up.

FAQ

Will Corgi Guard block every website?

No. It tracks the domains you configure. The default list starts with common social sites, and you can customize it.

Does it stop doomscrolling permanently?

No tool can promise that. Corgi Guard gives you a stronger interruption at the moment the habit is happening, which can make it easier to step away.

Is it private?

The MVP stores settings locally in Chrome and does not use an account, analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.

Corgi Guard is an independent Chrome extension project. It is not affiliated with Cat Gatekeeper, its creators, or ZOKUZOKU.
